Hi friends and family! I hope that the end of your summer has been so joyful! I wanted to share some updates from this summer and what I’ll be doing this upcoming year, which I am so beyond excited about!
This Summer:
This summer I spent the majority of my time in Huntington Beach except for two weeks of vacation I got to spend with my family up in Idaho! In Huntington this summer we had our cr school that I helped to facilitate, we had The Send Conference, and I helped with our call center.
During our CR school, we hosted around 200 students from all over the globe for a week-long training intensive. I had about 5 students from my previous tour in the Rockies come for the week which was so fun to get to visit with them! During the week I helped to lead out a small group in the Brave Love women breakout sessions, and got to walk alongside some of the women there for the week.
We also hosted The Send Conference in the Anaheim Convention Center in late summer. The Send is a global movement with the heart of mobilizing believers into living out the great commission. Around 5,000 people attended the 3-day conference and thousands took action to reach Neighborhoods, Nations, Vulnerable Children, Universities and High schools! I got to attend the three day conference, and helped with ushering and running the Circuit Riders booth. I also was able to help with follow-up from the conference and got to call people who were wanting to reach the nations to connect them with different ministries to do so.
This Year:
Now for this upcoming year I have started planning for my next outreach in which I will be going back to South Africa!
I am leading a team that will be travelling the southern coast of South Africa, going from Cape Town, through many different towns along the coast, and ending in Durban. I will be getting to go back to multiple cities and towns that I visited about three years ago, so I am so excited to get to see my friends in South Africa, and see how the Lord has been moving since I was last there.
We will be partnering with different churches and communities to host worship nights, and evangelism trainings for local communities. We will be visiting different townships, working with a village that cares for orphans, and e preaching the gospel in high schools and primary schools.
As of the last few weeks, we have been hopping on introductory calls with the contacts from last year, and starting to plan what to do and how we can serve each ministry/church group! We have been planning our pre tour which is a two week trip we will be going on in about a month, to meet in person with all our connections. One church in Jeffreys Bay recounted on our call how since the Circuit Rider team visited last year, their young adults have been starting to initiate doing evangelism weekly, and hosting worship nights! My faith has been stirred about how the Lord is using young South Africans to reach other South Africans with the gospel!
As I continue working this fall, I would love to invite you to join me in prayer for favor among our church ministry connections, and that God would continue to raise my and my team's faith for what he wants to do on our tour this year and in South Africa!
